I have been building pc's for almost 20 years. My next pc will be a dell...300$ cdn for a pc that is smoking fast and goes above and beyond what I need a home. Why would you buy an Ellsworth?

That and I really don't enjoy building pc's. There is no skill involved anymore (hasn't been in 15 years to be honest). Overclocking has even lost its edge. No talent in being a technician anymore.
I guess the other reason I don't like Dell is the fact they don't use AMD. Cheap yet fast and they can act like an Intel at 4 GHz only using 2.2 GHz. I'm running on an AMD 64 3000+ and it feels great. Every Dell I've seen seems to get slower and slower. My father's computer is an Dell at 3.0 GHz and it just seems slow to me even though it was about the same as mine (until I upgraded, which is harder with Dell in my opinion). But on the other hand, I don't do as much business application stuff on here as 3D rendering.
As for your idea of crashing one and not getting it replaced, you can just use all the individual warranties.
But I guess I'm getting off topic.
