I myself own a 5D mark II, but I am realizing the need to pick up a 50mm lens. I've used the 50 1.8, and 50 2.5 macro, but I have yet to decide on the 1.4 or save up for the 1.2...

I've heard that the 50 1.4 is nice, but not incredible...slow yet satisfying... but I also hear that it is due for an update, so I am very hesitant to plop down the ~$350 for one.

I do enjoy a good L lens... Currently working with a 17-40 f4, 70-200 f2.8 IS, and 100 2.8L Macro IS... I am not opposed to saving up for the 1.2L but I should get my other priorities straight before investing in any more photography equipment.

Does anybody in PDX want to hook up and do some bike photo shoots around town? Maybe do some lens exchanging or what not?
