I was thinking about converting my Bontrager Select rear wheel into a single speed. I feel unsure if the low spoke count can handle the tension. I am 150lbs and running a 42-16 ratio. Also, there are plenty of hills where I live. Is this fine or should I just build a rear with more spokes?
