Pretty much any vintage FD will work, I think. I know Zaphod uses a 1st gen. Cyclone FD for a 50/28 (or thereabouts) TA double. I use a modern Ultegra for a 46/30 combo. I can't tell that the Ultegra is functionally different than vintage ones I have.
