Try santiago canyon, jamboree road, or glendora mountain road and see how you do. Sure, it takes effort, but its all for a good cause right?

Thanks! Yea actually I live in OC area too, We did Jamboree (mild to hard for me takes about 10min to do the climb.) Santiago Canyon (on old bike but was not that bad of a climb. Started from Irvine blvd and Eltoro road and did that up to cooks and through back to jamboree and chapman.) also did San Juaquin hills road. (didnt cry, nice even pace around 7mph going up.) A list of my routes are here:

I was riding a smaller frame (30cm) target schwinn before January and had problems then. Since getting the new specialized allez i noticed i stopped having issues (noticeable on Torrey Pines Hill) Its just the fatigue that I was worried about. (day 4 or 5 of the ride) but now ive been told just focus more on pacing and recovery and I should be fine.
