RLHawk, remember that on average you will be putting out less power at a touring pace compared to your usual club rides. Try going for a long slow ride with your road bike and you'll probably find that your position is no longer so comfortable due to the difference in average power output. Though your position is unchanged, how your weight is distributed has changed. To create a semblance of whatever weight distribution works for you, you will need to make changes to position.

My advice on a starting point: maintain your reach, decrease your drop somewhat (my touring bike has 5cm drop, compared to 8cm on my road bike), and consider shifting your saddle back 1-2 cm while decreasing saddle height slightly to maintain leg extension.
