While I'm on the subject, has anyone ridden Colonial Parkway between Jamestown and Yorktown? That looks like another good ride.
I live 16 miles from Skyline Drive/Shenandoah Park. It is an amazing ride. Really, anywhere you start the ride is good. If you do not want to pay the park fee, and want to ride something that is just as amazing, head out to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is essentially an extension of Skyline Drive, minus the park and the cost!!
