From looking at some maps, many paths are color coded so as to give a new cyclist (or out of town tourist) the impression that the path is devoted exclusivly to bicycle use. --now granted there are signs on most MUTs---but those are proabably hard to read when you are cruising at 25 mph.
I didn't know there even was such a thing as a non multiple use bike path. Have you seen such a thing?
