Ok, now I want to buy a 27 in rim from nashbar to upgrade my old raleigh bike. The steel rims are not so good but the spokes I want to reuse. They are fine, can I do this meaning the old rim will have close to the same effective diameter? Do I really need get the specs on the new rim, I am using the same hub everything same just new rim.
