BTW, it's not that I can't control my itty bitty dog, but she usually sees things before I do and starts before I do. So if that happened on the MUP and there was a cyclist right behind me at speed, I wouldn't have enought time, even though my dog only got 3 feet away from me.
Meh, you're fine. I think actual dog owners understand that dogs aren't always on their best behavior. And if the doosh that for some reason thinks he owns the sidewalk/road/mup/etc has his day ruined because he can't sustain his 30mph average on a pedestrian path, then eff him. Eff him real good.
