Please let me ad my $.02 worth. I'm going to anyway. You guys seem to know a lot more about this than me but...SOLDERING a bike frame?? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't soldering using lead/tinand or silver to join relatively soft metals together? ie copper and aluminum? I think it was when I took metal fabrication courses in tech school. Terminology and technology change however, and that was over 40 years ago. Still, I don't think I'd ride a bike with a SOLDERED frame.
