It is easy to be a bike snob when you are on a frame that costs more than most people spend on their entire bike. The hard part is finding bikes for 200 bucks that actually are halfway decent and supporting the values that those bikes have. Or even tougher, is admitting that a stock bike has about 90% of the build quality of the custom bike you are already on and spent twice as much on.
My frame: About $350.00 - not cheap and cost more than most beginners bikes. I know that balance is tough to find and you just end up sounding like a snob who is clueless about what makes a good bike AND a good value. Your bike is good - the value is really bad on that stuff new.
i don't put much money into my bike.to get new stuff, i go on ebay or i trade and i get discounts at my bike shop.i got my STA frame for $200, or half price. I just sold my STA for $200 and bought a bullit for $250.
