i've used both of those thule racks and wouldn't recommend either for road bike transport. both are excellent racks, but more for bikes with wider wheels (mountain or bmx). the bike seems to wobble a bit in the rack which is scary. they do come with adapters for the smaller wheels, but it doesn't seem to hold it as tight as it should. get one of the fork mount ones for your road bike. super easy to use, holds the bike tight with no problems.
