He tells these stories in a very matter of fact way... like the time he opened up his thigh with a cutoff wheel and was amazed that there was no bleeding as it was pretty deep and about 5 inches long.
Said he realized that the heat of the cutoff wheel had also burned through and cauterized the wound so he drove himself to the hospital.
Reminds me of the first time I used a grinder. Burned through a fingertip in a quick second. Learned a lot that day.
Kudos to this guy for hopping back on the saddle and finishing.
