I gotta say, mroberts, I expected the Twisted pedals to be subpar. I remembered riding only medal pedals during my (brief) stint on BMX bikes and thought metal ones would be of superior quality.

But the Twisteds have mass and strength that gives medal platforms a run for their money. Plus, getting the pedals and straps for that price is great. I don't think I've found another maker who offers a combo of such quality for that price.
