My guess would be that the shape of the sole of the Sidis doesn't match the shape of the sole of your foot. They have fairly thin insoles. Many different aftermarket insoles around: Superfeet, Spenco (supposed to be really good with Sidis), Specialized BG footbeds, eSoles, etc. I think an insole will fix you right up. It's not the pedal.
