I've had a set of the 6700s sinse last summer and they've been great. I'm 6', 220 and ride about the same distances as you. The 6700s are light and seem to be quite durable. I've had to true my rear once but it was my fault as i ran over a downed limb. Trued it myself with the included wrenches. It was very easy and intuitive. I was a little leary of the 16/24 spoke count for someone my size but have been very pleased thus far. Got them on the bay for about $300 shipped. Nothing to lose at that price.
Yes, I have read that they are both pretty rock solid, especially the 6700s. If the RS80s were not such a good deal I would probably be riding the 6700s already! Do you use them tubeless, or with a tube? Why?
