Before you bother trying to grab a bottle riding with one hand practice first riding with one hand switch till you can ride trouble free then work your way down to the bottle, actually drinking from it while on the move will produce yet another exciting learning curve.
Practice practice practice, many have trouble riding one handed so you are not alone for sure.
