Hey everybody, have been into biking for a while and recently decided it was time to move on from my dad's (good but) old bianchi, and buy something of my own to work on.

I bought an old trek with shimano 600 santé edition equipment for 230$.

The serial number is 270999 and it has a trek matrix aluminum alloy decal on it, but I cant seem to identify (model, year, etc...) it using vintage-trek.com... It is vibrant yellow with trek and USA written in royal blue.

If anyone could share any insight it would be much appreciated. Really really smooth and rigid bike, I love it. Surprisingly light as well. Has brand new specialized tires and a nice new seat.
