Have any of you used this tire and, if so, how do you rate its performance and durability? Before I make the purchase, I'd like to hear from some ZX owners.


I currently have a pair of Ultremo R.1 tires that have served me well. The durability is fair (I need to replace the rear after about 1100 miles, but I foolishly used it too much on the trainer rather than switching to my cheaper tire). Puncture resistance is so-so, but plenty of heavier tires have punctured on me, too. Performance wise, I couldn't ask for a better ride. I never expected a tire upgrade to make such a difference in my acceleration and cornering.

The ZX is supposedly an upgrade in all respects. I've found a pair online for $44, which is much less than my current Ultremos. This also has me wondering why that is.
