Interesting part where he was talked about Joe Simonetti being right hooked. The paramedics arrived to the scene but the cops never responded. When the cops do come to investigate while he was in the hospital they were hoping he had the license plate number. "Uh, you could have asked the driver if you ever showed up to the accident." "Heck, you could have even asked the on lookers or paramedics at the scene if the driver had already left at that time."

Sadly, that is probably all too close to the truth. As I've said, and sadly as I am sure that must of us know. From the perceptive of law enforcement, the courts and motorists in general their attitude all too often is "no harm, no foul." Meaning that if we're not dead what's our "beef?" If we are dead "oh well another 'mobile speed bump'" has bit the dust. And that s/he should have known better then to try to ride his/her bike on the road.
