Funny thing, I wonder if the Regina America's second cog - the one that is broken - is a drop-in fit to the Everest, as with the first. If that is the case, one could conceivably create a slightly more reliable setup w/two Regina cogs.

FWIW, my Zeus 2000 freewheels use steel cogs in the threaded position.
