Bikes: noyb

27 when I left house, about 1.5 - 2" of snow in my area. Some wind blowing from the north. Icy/snow side streets but flatter main streets were pretty good. I had to stop once to pick up a $20 bill that was covered with ice...which made it all worth it. The next stop was about 1/2 way to work to warm up my hands. Winter gloves + liners were not keeping my hands warm after lots of downhills into the wind. Once I arrived downtown the streets were dry and I was toasty. Went from needing Mtn bike to not needing it. Then on way home it's going to be colder and I'll need Mtn bike for going back up hills. I doubt it'll snow another 1-2" like they are predicting. It is keeping drivers off the road though which is excellent.
