Picked up a fantastic cage at the co-op but trying to mount it got my head itching.
It would probably work much better without guidonnet levers, but that aside, the original clamps are oversized enough to work over the tape. way too large to fit flat against the metal.

so does anyone hava a detailed shot of how these originally mounted? Should i just wrap the bars all the way to the stem and clamp over the tape?
Alternatively are there any resources for bar bottle mounts? They are different from a standard clamp on cage mount in that the bolt is designed to be under the bar when the cage is mounted to the front, where as standard cages have the bolt behind the tube, opposite the mount.
