I picked up a 29'er a few months back and really love it. I'm very surprised at the difference between a 26" wheel and the 29" wheel. I bought a rather entry level Specialized 29'er and already upgraded the wheels to Shimano Deore M525 Disc Hubs w/ Mavic 317 Rims and I'm happy with them so far.
Thats' part of why I resist. New toy mean new accessories too. Not that that's bad thing but I'l spend the next few months obsessed.
