I have a chance to get a 2002 k2 Zed Team frame for a reasonable price. Would this be a lighter, stiffer (better) frame than my current '07 DiamondBack Response?

I usually wouldn't ask stuff like this, but i cant find weights on either frame, and I'm worried the reviews are dated. All i know is the K2 is Aluminum-7075 vs the DB being Al-6061.
