Thanks for the link however I'm trying to avoid importing anything from overseas if possible. Also, like a lot of places, Danscomp haven't mentioned the stem size for their handlebars so I'll assume it's 22.2mm.

Since it looks like my gear shifters and brake leavers won't fit without shims on a 22.2mm handlebar (which I'm avoiding) I'm not looking only at 25.4mm handlebars. I was originally after 31.8mm like the OP but I think that's too optimistic since very few people try to mod their cro-mo 29ers with 31.8mm bars to cro-mo 29ers with 31.8mm bmx bars

I have found a couple of wing bars which are 25.4mm but no wing bars with crossbar for that size (in UK). Esp since I'm after black cro-mo ones and need it wide enough to fit my shifters/levers back on between the grips and before it meets the crossbar and dips down. So...guess I'll go with the 25.4mm wing bar if nothing else. Highest rise so far for it is around 3". Ideally I'll like to see how a 5" rise feels.
