I always liked my Adidas Stan Smith tennis shoes and it took me a long time to find a new pair, for clipless I have Adidas mtb and road shoes, and some Garneau touring shoes which I wear as everyday shoes as they are so comfortable and walkable.

For clips and straps these are my favourite shoes... Uvex leather with a reinforced toe, reasonable stiffness, and very breathable and the little reflective stripe does not detract from their look much.

They cost me $2.00 (new) in a thrift shop.
