Despite telling LBS guy I wanted black bar tape he took it upon himself to give me what he felt was best and put on white. I now have tan bar tap, it's quite grungy and no longer matches my bike. I'm going to leave it until people make comments on the gross factor, I think it will need to be a color of carp brown for that to happen.
If that had happened to me I would have refused to pay for it. and then said I wanted black, retape it in black. definately time for a new LBS.
In other news I
do have to find a new LBS. the front fell of mine and it's stuck inside the CBD No-Go cordon anyway.
