I ride a B17 and my wife rides the flyer. She is 140lbs give or take and doen't really notice the springs. She also is not very observant so who knows. Myself at 210 dont miss the springs. Now like Sheldon Brown says, my bars are below my seat and she rides more upright so thats probably why I dont miss the springs. I decided no springs purely on a looks.
