The largest two differences between the '10 and '11 models of 2.1 are the brakes (Tiagra > Tektro) and the fact that the '11 has the new 5700 version of brake/shift lever, which routes the shift cables under the bar tape, has a different shape and feel, and on some shifts it can only downshift two cogs at a swing if that matters to you.
