Yes, interesting stuff .. though from what i can see in the April issue, they started with 24 bikes, on which people voted.
One of the things that is interesting is the predominance of European but non-Italian bikes .. French (Look, Lapierre, Gir's etc.) and the Spanish bikes .. BH and Orbea. There's a few of these bikes that take a quite different approach to geometry, and worth looking into if the Italian/US type standards don't work for you. Also good to see some smaller manufacturers getting a look in .. not to mention that that's two years in a row that Spanish bikes have won this award. (Orbea last year I believe)
