If we stick with text, in any of the supplied fonts, cost could be less than $60 shipped each.
Using a logo instead of text seems aimless to me as C&V doesn't have a logo.
I admit seeing the text for intel or nike would look out of place but just the text "classic and vintage" will look at home on a wool jersey.
What are the "supplied" fonts?
What is significant pertaining to the cost?
What budget are we trying to stay within?
Why does a logo up the price?
Can you post information sheets for the companies so we can all be on the same page?
If C&V doesn't have a logo, what better time to create a de facto logo?
I went to a couple of jersey sites last night and the two manufacturers that I saw had two very different philosophies. One was tending toward full custom, one was about giving them a phrase and letting them put it on (iron-on?) a shirt. Before we get too deep into the process, we need to decide which way to go. That will probably have an impact on how many will bite. Remember a graphic is always more interesting to look at than text.
My vote is to go the way of the logotype, even if it is more expensive.
