In the beginners stronglifts 5x5 program 1.5 x body weight is the target for the back squat, the core lift of the program. Carleton may be lifting more than 1.5 x, I don't know... I think I saw him mention in another post his BW is over 200lbs, so he's a big guy, I'm sure he's strong. I'm smaller in comparison, but I can lift the 1.5x body weight. I've actually started doing some higher reps at lower weight to raise my heart rate a bit more, as my legs are getting too big for my height/size
