Did a bunch of "race winning intervals." The out-of-saddle sprint start was okay, but not the part for which i need to hold 30" at 200% FTP. Well, if anything, this teaches me the need to concentrate and really hold the effort. I somehow think i should be really doing it out of saddle for 20+ seconds as i can't create as much power seated.

In the last 5 minutes of the ride, i almost got hit 4 times: a pedestrian walking his dog while talking on his phone, a runner not looking while crossing at a place without crosswalk, a car that swerved into the right lane, and an effing taxi cab that took an illegal left. The best part is that he took the left while there was a SUV with flashing light (presumably cop) facing him. Of course the cop did nothing.
