I have a U-lock that I use to lock up the frame and front wheel to a sturdy object. When the lock is not in use I have it attached to the frame in a holder. That way, it is really easy to bring with you. I also have a small, built in lock for the back wheel that locks it to the frame. This way I feel quite safe and also don't have any heavy chains to carry around.
