Yes, I have also seen the threads questioning the Dyads. I've also seen the Peter White raves and the continued use by Co-Motion of the Dyad on their touring bike builds. I guess I'm hoping for deeper thinking than: Question: "My rims are cracking". Answer: "Get another rim". It could be the Dyad, but I get 15-20k miles (including unloaded miles) on them before they fail. And 480 grams is alot better to haul around than 650 grams - not that I am committed one way or the other, just sayin'.....
