That ad campaign was meant fro the Attack/Force tire combo that they make. Where th front and rear are different from each other but they are made to work together as a team/pair. The ad shows two fraternal twins, women, who happen to work at Continental. Trying to illustrate that although they are twins they are still different.
Obviously it's a poor campaign.
Interestingly (?), the Olsen Twins are also not "identical" (monozygotic) twins, although they look alike. And, to keep this thread on topic, one of them is rumored to have had a relationship with a pro cyclist...
