I saw that auction! But other than the occasional ebay photo, I've never seen one.
Bear in mind, you can do a lot of disassembly on a dynohub without needing the keeper. You can remove the whole dynamo unit, grease all the bearings, and put it all back together, without needing the keeper. Once you have the dynamo unit separated from the hub, and you want to separate the magnet from the armature, hold the keeper up to the magnet; seems to me it should be pretty obvious whether it's the right thing or not. But, then, what do I know!
