Italian bicycle clothes weren't designed for my size any more than a Ducati 1098 was. Just ordered my first Castelli items (the Bormio jersey and bibshorts) off bonktown in XL, XL, and am getting the impression from this thread that they are going to be going right back after I receive them. Curse you darn Italian girly-men designers -- you're clothing sizes are lies, all lies!
Just received my Bormio jersey and bibshorts. The XL jersey might not be large enough across the shoulders, but does not tug anywhere else except right at my bourbon belly

larger would be too loose in too many places as even the XL is loose in places. Even with the stomach flatter the breadth of the shoulders dictate this is the right size. The XL bibshorts, however, might be a little big. I'm pretty sure I could run a large, no problem. I'm haven't had a chance to ride them yet, but the chamois seems a little far back to me, but we'll see.
