His constant drilling about fair lead has served me well and translates well to bikes, You want your cables to have the smoothest, runs with minimum curves and no bends.
Thanks for the insight. Now I want to go sailing on the Chesapeake Bay where I used to live. That sounds like more fun than wrenching right now.
