Depends. I just received a couple sets of these from CRC, some had the flatties, some had the half moons, but they all had the same part number on them. Go figure.

GOOD ADVICE: grind down the half moons to flatties. Really, it's super-easy. Use a Dremel and a sanding drum or a belt sander- 5 minutes, max. Worst case use a sheet of coarse sandpaper (which will take more time). Even worse worst case, send them to me and I'll do them for you. Yep, I will. Do 'em all the time.

MORE GOOD ADVICE: decide how many speeds you want to use. The 7 speeds will work fine but you'll need a 7 speed cassette (assuming 130 spacing freehub) with a 4.5mm spacer behind the cassette to fit on the hub. Cassette + spacer = $27 +/-. If you already have an 8 speed cassette, these DT shifters will run you $33 plus shipping. Pretty much the same cost, but to me the extra gear is worth 6 bucks.
