Not all SPD cleats are the same. You should contact the manufacturer. I have a friend who showed up at a century ride with new SPD cleats that didn't match the pedals. They clipped in, but they didn't come out!
That said, you won't have hots spot problems as long as you don't cheap out on the shoes.
I believe that pedals pictures in the OP are Wellgo brand. From what I've read and experienced myself, SPD cleats work fine with them, but Wellgo cleats work better.
