The geo on the 1x1 makes it a pretty sorry bike for putting in alot of miles. I've done a little research on the crosscheck (takes 45c tires!) and cyclocross bikes in general. I really think it would work, if i just built it to be bulletproof. Mtb parts instead of road parts. Thanks guys. The 1x1 29er will have to go.
