Ive never test ridden a bike, test rides will tell you nothing unless you have the bike for about 2 weeks and have time to really get the fit perfect for you and you cant expect a shop to do that.

I bought a $3k mountain bike, a $2k road bike and a $15k road bike all based on nothing more than sitting on it in the shop to check frame size which i already new before going there.

I did test ride a Madone 6.9 Di2 once, for about 30 miles and it put me off getting one because it wasnt set up perfectly for me. Im sure if it was I would have felt differently.

Forget test rids they are a waste of time.
