Ten speed mix & match

I'm considering a vintage bike purchase, but I would want to update the bike to a 2x10 drivetrain. Since the bike is Italian, I will put Campagnolo derailleurs, cassette, and hubs on the bike.

However, I'm considering using a modern GPX Sram crank that I already own. Will a Sram ten speed crankset work with a Campagnolo chain?

Also, I would like to use bar-end shifters. Does Campagnolo offer ten speed indexed bar-end shifters? If I can't use an indexed bar-end Shifter, can I use a Shimano bar-end shifter in friction mode?

I'll eventually have a 100% Campagnolo drivetrain on the bike, but using my existing crankset & shifters will put the bike on the road sooner.
