Went into a new (to me) LBS yesterday to see if they had some dark brown cork for my newest bike.

I noticed that they had some preowned bikes and that they also had a couple of track bikes on the floor. One was a nice Bianchi fixed gear going for around $900 or so. I oogled it and kept going.

Struck up a conversation with the owner and when he learned that I enjoy FG/SS bikes he asked if I noticed the Pista in the front of the store. I said no and he went up to show me. The bike is a Bianchi Pista in chrome and has been heavily modified. The bottom bracket is Chris King, the cranks Omniums, the wheels are Arayas, kind of a golden brown color, not original to the bike. Anyways it is in great shape and the guy who owns it is wanting to get $600 for it, but will probably accept less according to the shop owner. The shop is selling it for the guy because he just bought a more expensive Bianchi from them.

If I could get it for 5 bills or a little more, that would seem like an awesome deal. I would gladly sell a couple of the bikes that I own to help pay for it.
