I agree that renewable energy industries need to be encouraged in as many ways as needed.

We could probably balance the budget if we just called home all of the military personnel from around the world and closed all of the military bases outside the USA. I'd put all of those Army people in the ports and along the borders. They could search the millions of shipping containers that come into the country without examination, and at the borders they could just keep them secure.

This won't happen unless Ron Paul gets elected president. I don't know of anyone else in politics at his level that would do it.

There are millions of people in the USA that want the same thing. Almost nobody in government would even propose such a move. Even with calls at 1000:1 against it, the banker bail out bill was passed. It made me realize that voting isn't worth the effort at the national level.
