I'm headed to Florida to visit my parents for a few weeks. I've arranged a good deal on a road bike rental, which I'm excited about. Gonna be nice not to worry about the weather for a spell. My question: should I bring my helmet? They offer helmets with their rentals but I'm sure they're not going to be as good quality as mine (and of course they won't fit as well). It's light but it does take up space in my suitcase so I'm trying to decide if it's worth taking or not. Any thoughts?

Any other advice in terms of what else I should bring besides the usual (clothing, gloves)?
