I finally took her for a short ride - 4.5 miles to the Potomac river and back. She has 600 brakes and derailleurs. The drop bars, stem,headset, cranks, and bar end shifters are VO Grand Cru. She's also set up as a 9 speed compact 50/34.

The only flaw is her engine - 5 miles is my limit; but that will change. She rode firm, and the shifting and coasting were like silk and quiet. I will have to tighten the shifters, adjust the stops, and slide the saddle back a half inch.

The weather was 50F and I had a hoodie merino jersey, 50+ vest, tights and Lake boots.
